Joint Stock Holding Company “Sibirskiy Delovoy Souz” (hereinafter it will be used as: Siberian Business Union, or: SBU) was founded on August 12th, 2004. By January 2011, the company united 38,300 enterprises’ employees of the Kemerovo Region, Altai Region, and some other Regions of Russia.

SBU invested $ 1 037,4 million in the modernization, introduction and implementation of technological
advancements, and new enterprise construction in 2004-2010. The enterprises’ production sales proceeds exceeded $ 3 225 million in 2010.

The services provided by Kemerovo airport, travel and insurance companies, sports, recreation and
entertainment institutions under the holding company’s management were used by over a million people in 2010.
The holding’s enterprises mine coal, produce rail cars, provide railway cargo carriage, produce heat
and electric power, electric motors, mine equipment, chemical industry equipment, grain, meat,
milk, souvenir and promotional products and hundreds of others goods and services. SBU’s corporate
management of enterprises is performed through the sector holdings: Holding Company “SBU-Coal”, Holding Company “SBU-Engineering”, Holding Company “Novotrans”, Holding Company
“SBU-Construction”, Holding Company “SBUAgro”, Holding Company “SBU-Alco”, Holding Company
“SBU-Media”, Holding Company “SBU-Energy”.

The SBU Holding contributes to the strengthening of the political stability in its regional presence, by
annually entering the socio-economic agreement with the Kemerovo Region and Altai Territory administrations.

The SBU dynamic development is achieved by the synergy of the enterprises’ diverse sectors. I.e.
production modernization takes into account the interests of the other sectors, and establishes new
business ventures on mutual advantages and high effectiveness of property, technical, financial and
intellectual resource usage by the other holding enterprises.

The SBU’s strategic objective is each enterprise’s continuous development, ensuring all production
conditions and advanced competitive production sales.

For our mines, factories, electric power stations, service companies and other business facilities we
try to buy the best equipment and technologies in the world, so that we may enhance the production
and management culture. This is done in order to achieve European quality services and production
in Siberia, so that we may have a firm domestic and international market power.
