Many Kemerovo and Kuzbass residents are familiar with the entertainment and sports facilities founded by SBU due to the reconstruction of old buildings. Annually, hundreds of thousands people visit “Volna” Cultural and Entertainment Center, “Continent” Entertainment Center and “Lazurniy” Regional Universal Sports Center. These buildings in the center of Kemerovo can be considered a unique trademark and SBU contribution to urban amenities and the Kemerovo city’s architecture maintenance.

CEC “Volna” was opened after renovation in October of 2003. The Center includes a restaurant, with a banquet hall for 120 guests, a VIP-hall, a bowling center, a billiards room, and a cafe. During their visits in Kemerovo, State and International delegations as well as famous Russian actors, singers, etc., visit “Volna”, too.

The restaurant of classical European and traditional Russian, and Oriental cuisines is well-known for its unique tradition and exotic combinations. As well as the best collections of French, Spanish and Chilean wines, and staff professionalism. All this allows us to consider CEC “Volna” as the best place for guests visiting in our city.

The entertainment center “Continent” was opened in the Sovietskiy Avenue, in September of 2007. The old club building became a modern entertainment center after its reconstruction. The Banquet and Concert hall “Holiday”, transformed for banquets, celebrations, conferences, seminars, presentations and competitions was opened. The hall accommodates up to 800 people during a show performance, and 120 people during a banquet. A multifunctional mirror hall for guests that has 50 seats and a comfortable VIP-hall with 30 seats are on the main floor. Japanese restaurant “Izumi” operates on the EC “Continent’s” second floor (3 halls for 90 guests).

It offers 140 different dishes to its guests. Japanese rice and fresh chilled seafood are delivered to the “Continent” from Japan and European countries.
