SBU Holding Company agriculture program

In 2006, due to the Kemerovo Region Administration’s offer, Siberian Business Union Holding Company participated in the national project “Agricultural Sector Development”. As the result it took a number of agricultural enterprises in the Region under its management.

Nowadays, under SBU control are the following Agricultural Firms: “Razgulay”, “Chebulinskiy”, “Vaganovo”, “Titovo” and “Zolotiye nivy”.

SBU-Agro enterprises annually retro cedes turned over derelict lands. In 2010 its cropland area amounted to 117,381hectares, including 96,824 hectares of arable land.

With the 2007 planting season, SBU-Agro farms implemented a no-plow tillage technology “No Till”. The introduction of the investment program has allowed to equip all enterprises with advanced sowing complexes, harvesters, tractors and other equipment from the best manufacturers in the world, as: CLAAS, MORRIS, BUHLER, VERSATILE, AMAZONE, BOURGAULT, etc.

Cattle breeding program development was adopted in SBU-Agro enterprises. All livestock were transferred to the modern and economically efficient stall barn system, the cattle breeding process was provided with high quality forages. High productive breeds of cattle, pigs, sheep and poultry were purchased.

In 2009 at “Vaganovo”, the work for reproduction of stock and development of the breed of black-white cattle with the genetic milk yield potential of 8.10 tons of milk per year started. In 2010 the gross output was: milk 19 617 tons, meat – 1716,6 tons, grain – 59762 tons.
