Novotrans Holding Company was founded in November 01, 2000. For 10 years Novotrans has gone from an Operating Services Agency, that provided Kuzbass coal transportation, to one of the largest independent freight carriers in Russia. Novotrans is surely one of the ten largest freight forwarders operating on the railway market in Russia and the CIS countries. SBU investments ensured the establishment of the company with more than 18 000 freight wagons in its fleet, including 14 215 gondola cars for coal transportation.

Novotrans provides their customers with dispatches and tracking of cargo monitoring information in real time. Transportation is organized with permanent dispatch data, monitoring and managing using advanced information technologies that allow fast delivery of cargo to a destination in full volume.

Novotrans produces roundhouse servicing and repair of current railcars in private carriage repair facilities with the total capacity of 10,000 railcars per year, built in Irkutsk Region (urban village Taiturka, located 80 km from Irkutsk) in 2008, and Kemerovo Region (Prokopyevsk city) in 2009. Now the company is building the third railway carriage repair plant with a 5,000 car capacity in the Moscow Region (Kashira city).

Novotrans provides forwarding services to enterprises, dealing with railway cargo transportation. The company’s private railcar fleet provides 100% of coal exports, produced by SBU enterprises (more than 10 million tons per year).

Novotrans offers its private carriage rolling stock (gondola cars, box railcars, reservoir railcars, railcar transporters) for cargo transportation. The Holding Company has an extensive network of branches and representative offices. Subsidiaries in Kemerovo, Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Moscow,
Krasnodar, Kiev, as well as their representative offices in Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, and Yekaterinburg are within Novotrans structure.

Novotrans private freight wagons meet the highest standard of technological requirements and are entitled without restriction on the railways in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries.
