SBU-Energy company was registered in September 24, 2007. The company was founded with the aim to increase energy efficiency of SBU Holding Companies’ enterprises. SBU-Energy company performs energy audits, develops business projects for innovative technology implementation, creates technical documentation for electrical machinery production, functions as a construction manager of the power facilities, attracts investments, and analyzes the client base.

By the Kemerovo Region’s Administration’s proposal SBU-Energy is implementing a modernization program for heat supply in Mariinsk in 2010-2011. SBU investments for this program were implemented in 2010, and amounted to over $ 25,8 million. The goals set for SBU-Energy are achieved by its subsidiaries.

“Siberian Energy Retail Company” (Sibenergosbyt) operates in the wholesale power market, plans and supervises SBU enterprises’ power consumption.

“SBU-Heat Company” solves heat supply problems, implements new technologies, upgrading and increasing efficiency of heat production.

“Kuzbass Retail Supplier Company” (RSK) provides reliable and uninterrupted electricity supply with a range of services for a mix of clients from Kemerovo and Berezovsky. In the RSK responsibility area there are about 4 thousand legal entities, as well as residential and private housing sectors of Kemerovo and Berezovsky, i.e. more than 200 thousand inhabitants.

Altaikhimenergo Company and the Thermal Power Plant (TPP) Yarovoye Company merged with SBUEnergy in January, 2010. The TPP Yarovoye installed electric power capacity is 32.5 MW, the installed heat power capacity is 277 Gcal /hr. Currently, the TPP Yarovoye provides the production needs of “Altaikhimprom” Company in full capacity and also provides heat and electricity supply to the city’s infrastructure and 22 thousand residents.

Under SBU-Energy management is “Prokopievskenergo Company”, which ensures the operation, and provides maintenance and repair work for the Prokopievsk electrical grid. The total installed power in the substations is — 453.27 MBA. The total length of cable lines (CL) is 6-10 kV — 29.9 km. The total length of single-circuit overhead transmission lines (OL) is — 129.4 km. The company supplies consumers with electricity and heat, conducts repair of electrical measuring instruments and electrical
machinery, and provides construction and installation jobs.
